Question Remington model 7500 autoloader.

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

bonjour, all of you
I have heard about the Remington 7500. It is a centerfire autoloader rifle with a non-detachable pivoted magazine. I didn't find it on the Remington's Web site. Is it already in the shops ? Any info will be welcome. Thanks.

Never heard of it here in USA, most likely a made-for-Europe market. The 7400 is the model is see quite often.

I read somewhere that most European nations limit auto-loader rifles to a 2 cartridge magazine. Must have something to to do with wars of the previous century.

Actually is has more to do with their socialist government imposing stupid rules on their citizens.

I didn't intend to start a political topic, I just wanted some technical info.

Nevertheless you are right, this has to do with the last European law about firearms, already applied in France, not yet in every european country. In my whole life, I have never seen the firearm regulations get more permissive to the citizens, in any country in the world, with any government. Over here, I see slowly coming the future day when a permit will be needed to buy some rubber band for making a toy catapult. Why do you think I chose my signature for? Be careful, American shooters and hunters friends, not to get in the future the same regulations as ours. Please, just glance at my last post in the thread " D.Day's 60th Anniversary. From a grateful french shooter" located in the General Discussion forum, you'll get an abstract of our silly regulations.

Thanks for the warning, some shooters in America don't realize how good we have it.

Good luck with your hunting and shooting.
