I have a Browning A-Bolt in .30-06 and it's a good gun, IMO. I'm not necessarily a fan of the .325 WSM, though, but others in this forum seem to like it and it seems to get some good reviews across the 'net every now and then. /shrug
I like the Browning A-bolt and have one in 338 Win Mag; the rifle I most pick up these days for elk hunting. I can't offer any experience with the 325 WSM - wish I could! I've wanted one, although on the model 70 platform. Let us know your experiences if you get one.
I have the .325 wsm in a Browning A bolt. Its one of the most accurate rifles Ive ever owned out of the box. Very light and not a bad kicking caliber although I do have a half moon mark on my head from shooting full house rounds from the prone with it. Only gun to ever get me.
One thing I noticed was the difference in factory and handloads. They shifted a bit in the point of impact. You just have to try different loads and see what works dont assume they will hit in the same spot.
I would highly recommend that combination to anyone.
I have a Savage in .325 WSM. Very accurate and easy to load for caliber. Recoil doesnt seem anywhere near that of my .338 Win Mag.
