I'm not sure what information you are actually seeking. Roy Weatherby used several commercially made actions prior to designing his own action, Wikipedia has a brief rundown on early Weatherby rifles.

Many commercial actions will have the manufacturers name on the receiver, and the company who built the complete rifle will have their name on the barrel.

".270 Weatherby Magnum" is the name of the cartridge, not necessarily the maker of the rifle. Check the writing on the barrel, is there a company name?

Don't worry about the year, too many actions were used. While it might be possible to figure it out, at this time we don't even know who manufactured the action, let alone what database might contain the info.

Use the link I provided in post #2 and do an image search for the actions mentioned. Once we know what action is being used then we might be able to determine what trigger is used.

An additional option would be to use a pic hosting site like Photobucket then provide a link to those pictures.

With the info provided I'm guessing that the rifle was made in 1959.

Mauser type actions were used through 1961.

Mark V actions started in 1958, with a starting serial number of 15000.

That's doable, but the serial number pre-dates the Mark V.

That's one of the reason pics are so great.

Locking lugs are what keep the bolt locked to the receiver when firing. When you raise the bolt handle, the lugs are being disengaged from the receiver so that the bolt can be moved to the rear. Without the lugs the bolt would be blown into the shooters face when the rifle was fired.

At the front of the bolt, on the sides, are either two large lumps of steel or nine smaller lumps. How the bolt is designed, including the lugs, help to determine the manufacture of the action.

Really if you can take some pictures as the others have suggested and use PHOTOBUCKET it would be very very helpful. Any pictures of numbers, letters, the bolt out of the gun, and overall pictures would really help.

If the front of your bolt looks like this picture you have a 98 Mauser action. The locking lugs are the two metal lugs on the right end of this picture.
