That's my thought.
I used to be more picky, and for some shooting I avoid the bulk pak stuff. Autoloading handguns and newer shooters. My P22 is less than 100% on anything but the good stuff, and I don't like to watch new shooters clearing a jam.
Shooting with my daughter for instance, who is confident Dad will cover the ammo, I use cheap ammo, as she has shown a talent for unloading and reloading for her 10/22. Shooting off hand at clay birds in a sand pit they work fine. Shooting at pests long range, 100+ yds, with my 77/22 VBZ, I use Winchester HS/HP's as it favors those.
