My preferred brand. I've always found it reliable.

Growing up, I had no idea any other company made 22 ammo. I've had misfires from most of the other manufacturers, but can honestly say I do not recall a single FTF when using CCI. It's not usually THE cheapest ammo for 22, though?

Several handguns I've purchased recommended CCI for their rather touchy/particular firearms.

I have used a bunch of CCI over the years, including lots of the cheaper Blazer.

Good stuff from a company about 40miles from where I now sit.

Have used a lot of the CCI primers for years, also with good results.

Keep em coming!

Land&groove,

They have put out good products for quite awhile.

I just hope that CCI, Fed. etc etc. being all now part of one company doesn't wreck things.

Hate it when a pencil pusher starts call'in the shots.

Keep em coming!

Yes, reliable, I try to use the cci mini-mags in my .22LR carry pocket/BUG guns (Bobcat, Walther SP22).

CCI is my go to brand for rimfire. My Browning T-Bolt loves the CCI SS HP. It likes Wolf MT a lot too but it's a little more pricey.

Very reliable. I have never had a failure with CCI's. A few failures with Remington Goldens, lots of misfires with Federal Bulk Hi-Velocity. Years ago I didn't remember CCI being the most accurate ( stingers especially),but now days, the Mini Mags seem to be the most accurate Hi-Velocity ammo I shoot out of my guns. The W-W Super -X is a close second.

I used CCI Std velocity in both my rifle and handgun when traveling around the country shooting team challenge. It was almost the most accurate ammo I tried but not the most accurate. It shot about 95% as accurate as the very high end stuff I experimented with at about a third the cost. I never could see practicing with cheaper ammo and then switching to a different brand at the shoots. Since is shot very well in its own right, I just used it for practice and competition (these were reactive targets, not paper). It never cost me a target and it rarely ever misfired. All brands will get a misfire if you shoot enough. All of them. If I were to shoot paper targets in competition I would have used something else. My groups out of my rifle would average about 1.5" at 100 yds with CCI and with Ely I could get a quarter inch less. CCI was readily available and Ely had to be ordered and sometimes not available. I have no problems using CCI. All this was about ten years ago. I don't know how it is now but I haven't heard anything different about it.

I started shooting before CCI made ammo. It's good stuff, and shoots well from some of my collection, but not all. Like every other brand.

If you have one rifle or handgun, the probability it's actually bad, is way low.

I have four rifles and five handguns. In that mix it's great, good, OK, but never bad.

Good stuff, but some firearms it's not the favorite flavor.
American Made likes this.

1. Video: Have You Ever Wondered How Rimfire Ammunition is Made?

I prefer CCI Std in my Victors and S&W 41s - but nothing CCI makes is less than good.
