rod guides

I use a military surplus high-pressure "aviation" grease - which appears to be a form of white lithium grease. You might try Brownells "trigger slick" which is good or a very light coat of engine assembly lube.

How often do you grease the rods (after how many shots approx)?

I use a mixture of 50/50 Hoppes oil and Hoppes gun grease and use it after every range session when cleaning the rifle. All the best...

Break-Free, and not much of it, just a thin film.
