Browning T-Bolt vs. Winchester Wildcat

Folks,
I wanted a new .22 rifle and looked at the Wildcat and ended up with the T-Bolt heavy barrel Varmint / Target rifle. I was very disappointed in the Wildcat and just love the T-Bolt. Take care...

I haven't shot one of the new ones, but put a bunch of rounds thru an older one I had for a while. Traded it off for something a long while back. It's another one of those guns that I'd wish I'd kept. I'm shooting a CZ 452 Lux now.

Obie, I looked at them both a few weeks ago. I agree w/ you. I love strait pull rifles and Browning did a great job. I am sticking w/ my A-bolt .22 mag though. Good luck w/ her. Jim

Not sure what the Wildcat is Oberndorf, but I'm familiar with the old T-bolt - a very fine little rifle in my opinion. My dad had one when I was growing up, and my twin brother and I wore a lot of the finish off that gun. I'm glad to see Browning bring it back. Give us an update on the performance of yours when you can.

I made the same purchase decision and the T-Bolt is one beautiful little rifle. All the best...
