Kimber Model 82 22LR Magazine

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

I'm trying to find some more magazines for my Kimber Model 82 22LR. This is the most accurate rifle I've ever owned, but the 4 shot clip needs some backup, especially when hunting squirrels. Anyone out there have any ideas where I could buy some?

Have you called Kimber? They might at least have a location of reserve clips.

I have a 82C Kimber of Oregon that dotes on the Midas "M" ammo. I got a 5 round magazine from Widners in Ohio some years ago - might give them a shout. It protrudes below the stock slightly, but the standard 4 round magazine is annoying when wanting to shoot a 5 shot target.

I had a Winchester M320 for a while, and traded it for a 77/22 when they were introduced. I recall the M82 clips were interchangable, as I think Kimber designed it for WRA.

I have a 1980 Kimber 82 American Classic that came with a 5 shot mag. I also have a nice 10 shot Kimber mag but for the life of me can't remember if it came with the rifle or I bought it later. Both are Kimber mags.

Thanks for the poop! You are exactly correct - Greg Warne of later Kimber built the Winchester 320 on contract from Australia from '72-'74 and kept the clips the same when Kimber produced the Model 82! I got two clips on Gunbroker for the Winchester Model 320 and they work perfectly! I knew there was a reason I joined this forum!!!

Well, I guess the 5+ decades of gun magazines were not a waste of time and money
