MEC 650 manual

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

I bought a used MEC 650 and I got the thing together and mostly working right, but the second crimp stage is crushing shells. I need a manual or hopefully somebody know what is going on with it. Thanks!

MEC 650 Manual

I would contact MEC for a manual. They have a website and the manual may be available online. All the best...

Thanks, I did see that, it wasn't very helpful as a manual. Regardless I got the problem fixed, the first stage wasn't crimping enough, so the second stage couldn't compress it. I have no idea how the previous owner would have made any shells though.

Well, it wouldn't keep adjustment, so I called MEC and the Tech went through a few things and suggested sending it in for a tune up as it sounded to him that the second crimp die was way out of spec. So its off the MEC now, hopefully they can get it running good.
