11/87 bore

I have a Rem. sp turkey with 21 in. barrel, 3 in. chamber that I bought new in 1993
and would like to know the bore size. I'm assuming it's .725.

Thanks

Finding shotgun bore diameters - the easy way!

Surprisingly, information on shotgun bore diameters is not readily available. So how would you find out?

I answered this question in detail over on the Dixie Slugs Forum:

The information source is not one of the usual suspects!

All the Remington barrels I have checked miked between .727" and .730", but there are about 15 million I haven't gotten to yet.
