I did some gun tradeing for a Browning BPS Shotgun . I know the first 5 numbers are the s/n # and the next two letters stand for the date/year it was made , and the lastthree #`s stand for what type the gun is Hunter , Field , ect. ect.
My problem is , I`m been all over Browings Wbe Site and all over the internet , and I have YET" to find out that Year Built Date on is shotgun . My s/n has a PP in it . does anyone know what year That" Is ? I`d send Browning an Email and ask them , If I could find out what there Email address was . Can`t find that on there Web Site either . Thanks

Hey Thanks Rangr44 , I Thought" , that was what the year was form what I`ve read on Browning Web site , but glad your 2nd. the motion there for me Sir . I just wanted to know for sure what the year of it was . It`s a Good solid steel shotgun , in real good condision and Plan on using it for Some hunting trips next year to see if I like it or not . Something tell me I Will . I have a cupla other pump shotguns I use for bird hunting also , so If I don`t care for this new BPS I just got , no big loss , I`ll more than likely just give it on to my Son . He get`s all my guns , equipment , and all reloading equipment after I`m dead and gone anyhow I Really thank you My Friend , for your info on the BPS shotgun . and your quick reply.....
