For anyone living in the Boston / North Shore area in MA, where do you go for your reloading supplies?

Some of the mail order suppliers won't sell to Mass. customers because of your state's regulations. I take that to mean some things may be unavailable there altogether? My advice is to choose a nice weekend day for a field trip, hop in the car and putter up Interstate 95 to Kittery, Maine and visit the Kittery Trading Post. It was an excellent toy store last time I was there (8 years ago, maybe). On the way through New Hampshire, you can stop and buy all the no Mass tax single malt your heart desires. Seems like a good pair of excuses for a field trip to me.

thanks Nick, so far people I'm talking to seem to agree on Kittery Trading Post. Thankfully it's only about an hour or so from my house. The only concern I have is, can I purchase powders and such accross state lines with only a MA ltc? Or should I spend the $15 and get a non-resident Maine license?

What LTC do you need to buy powder? I have never heard such a thing...

I'm not aware of any requirement for residency to purchase powder and reloading supplies in Maine.

I went to college out there and had a good friend over in Granby MA that actually had a pretty nice gun shop in his town.

Ok, I wasn't aware that you didn't need one. At the shop I go to for most my shooting needs, theres a sign that says a valid license is needed for all purchases of firearms, ammo and powders, but it's an old sign, they no longer stock re-loading supplies.

You need a FOID card, but thats only in Mass and Illinois, if you go to Maine or NH you are fine.

if you belonged to GOAL you could find this out.
you dont need a license to buy powder.just dont mention Mass.other wise they might throw you down the stairs.theres many gun stores around,but how do we now where you are.I am not afraid to post my geographical location.there are several gun stores in north shore and out to woburn.
