Sounds like S&W is doing to T/C what Remington did to Marlin.

Exactly my thought. Eventually, they will declare the line as "unprofitable" and another great gun company will disappear.

i called TC today because it accrued to me that maybe they might have a pistol barrel in a different caliber like maybe a 17HMR that they would be willing to send me .............but no they don't even have one of them to send . i asked when the 22lr would go back into production. he had no idea.

Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

i gave TC one more call . i asked what barrels they do have ,the list was not very long. the only barrels that they offer that i am interested in is a 45-70 rifle and a 209-50 ML. i opted for the 209-50. it should be here in one week

Wow, what an epic failure, all the way around! That sounds to me like a company on the verge of collapse. In fact, it seems like if someone wants a G2 Contender or an Encore frame, they'd best order one soon! A company with that kind of "response" to their customers isn't going to be around that much longer.
