I have a Optima Elite that is miss firing has anyone else had this problem? And what did you do to correct it.

I bought one from gander mountain and after mis firing two boxes of bullets (expensive) I called them and they said it is a known defect in the factory firing pin. They quickly replaced firing pin and have shot it several times since then with no problems, even reshot the two boxes of bullets that mis fired. They basically said the firing pin was not hitting hard enough, My only problem with this I don,t see how or why they continue selling them without fixing the firing pins first, any questions email me at dbullock29@live.com

i just bought one of these and haven't had a misfire through my first 20 rounds... rifle shoots great since i put a pound of lead in the stock... wonderful trigger IMO
