I was wondering if anyone on here has or has seen a ballard arms highwall takedown rifle? This is a gun I'm interested in purchasing in the future and I thought I'd try to get some opinions on it. The only thing that worries me is that the takedown part will ware out when I get old. How does this setup compare to a break-open switch barrel gun as far a longtivity?

I just realized this was my 1st post. I was sure I posted on here a few years back.

I guess those Ballards are just too expensive. There's probably not alot of people who have them. Anyone know of a good single shot rifle forum?
