Does anyone know of a scope base/mount for a Marlin model 100 .22?
I wanted, and just bought, a single shot bolt-action .22 to get 1 hole accuracy (yeah, I'm a cheapwad), but now I need to scope the thing and I'd prefer not to go with a scout scope set-up, if possible. I don't mind altering the gun or stock (obviously), and I'd prefer, but is not neccessary, to still keep the iron sights. What do I do? Any suggestions?

I've just acquired a Marlin 100-G and thought it would be a fun project to restore it. My plan is to refinish or replace the stock and rust blue the barrel and receiver. Then add a scope and have fun. Can't seem to find scope mounts though. Will I have to take it to a gun smith?

Looks like. I'm guess mine's gonna go to my gunsmith. I can't seem to find a scope base for it and I don't want a scout scope (pistol) as then I couldn't use the iron sights.
