Cadet Rifles

I have two Martini Cadets, one in .22 Hornet and the other in .218 Bee. I got the Hornet as is but the Bee had been the original .310 and some one had run a .32-20 reamer into it and totally ruined it. My gunsmith in Phoenix put a new barrel on it and carved a new short one. New total blue job and oiled and mounted the original shoulder stock as it had all the old numbers stamped on it. I put a good scope one it and it is a good short range varmit rifle.
The Hornet had ben conveeted from a rimfire. I am thinking of having it reaned out for the K-Hornet. The wood is all original.

You might want to check the bore diameter on the Hornet. A lot of those rimfire conversions were .223 bore. Makes for some high pressures when .224 bullets are squeezed through. I know, I built several hornet Martinis in the late 60's, all on .223 rim fire target barrels.
