lookin at a 30 g stevens favorite 22 , any one have this , good gun or not

what year was it made in (roughly) it is brand new?

The one I have is 22 mag. It is tough to extract the shells after they are fired. The sights suck too.

Maybe the extractor will work better on the 22LR than the 22 mag. i suspect the sights still are lousy pieces of trash. Overall quality is low. Wood fit to metal--crude. Finish--well I refinished mine before I took a shot because it was too ugly to hold.

I have a 22 Mag for sale. Looks better than factory. Less than 50 rounds through it.
