Anyone shoot the 6mm Bullberry Improved. I am looking for some proven reloading data for the Contender in a 22" barrel. Also a source for Sierra 80 grain flat base single shot pistol bullets. I think #7150.

Had a 6.5mm Bullberry Imp. in a Contender. Had a hard time getting the cases formed using the 30-30 brass - kept getting shoulder splits. Fred made me a custom long taper sizing die and then started annealing the cases. Was able to fireform just fine with that combination. Going down even further to 6mm is probably a chore.

Gave away all the reloading data when selling the barrel and dies to another.

If you contact Bullberry, they will send you their loading data for your cartridge.

I am shooting a 6mm 30-30 AI which is identical to the 6mm BB Imp......at least so says Steve Stratton at VVCG. Mine is a carbine barrel 22" and I can get some of my load data for you tomorrow as I am at work right now. To date I have a good fire form load, a decent varmint load and I am working on a light big game load using Barnes Triple shocks. Once I got the case forming down its a snap .......email me at
