A dragunov with a heavy barrel in this caliber would be interesting. M9

The SVD doesn't have the accuracy potential to warrant the expense..

Oh I definatly don't agree there. It is the most successful purpose-built sniper rifle in the world. As a matter of fact, the russians have the most succesful snipers in the world also. I'm not a commie fan, but facts are facts & you have to give the devil his due. Know your friends, know your enemies better, to pretend otherwise is folly. It has much better scope mounting ability than our M21. Have you ever fired one with real 7N russian sniper ammo? Most of the so-called sniper grade 7.62X54 sold here is really MG ammo. Our bolt action sniper rifles are undoubtly more accurate on a range, but on a battlefield I'd take a Drag with the right ammo anytime. Keep in mind that if one were to do this he'd be installing a new & possibly heavier match grade barrel also. M9
