.450 Ackley Magnum

I'm looking to buy or borrow a used or new .450 Ackley Magnum reamer and also want a set of dies and brass, bullets, etc. .....anything pertaining to .450 Ackley Magnum. I built quite a few African rifles thru my 50 years as a gunmaker/gunsmith, but never made one for myself, so now I am building a .450 Ackley Magnum on a P14 Enfield action (on a Social Security budget) and need the above items and a reasonable barrel also if any of you can help I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Dick Campbell

I have owed a couple of 450 Ackley rifles. I have lots of brass and a set of dies. It's a serious buffalo rifle and will stun 'em with a decent shot placement. I don't have the rifle anymore and would part with the dies and brass.

Been five-plus years since the original post. He may not even be part of the oxygen-breathing class by now. Let's hope, however, that he pops up and answers your post...

Well I didn't notice the date. I joined several years ago to and just now found my way back. Looking for a camp fire to spew my wit or lack of it and offer what I can to the fire.

I really like that round! I hunted with a PH that uses it all the time and he loves the round, plus it's got a shoulder I love too.

Yep Murphy, I'm still kicking, 74 this week, had some health problems but now back and still interested in your items.
PM me as to what you have and prices.
Thanks for your reply.
