Can anyone tell me what the parent case of the .460 Alliance is? I can find info on the rifles and purchasing ammo, but little info on the round itself.
Any reload info would be appreciated as well.

Never heard of it before. A quick search turned up a little: A new gizmo put out by Alliance Armament with the 300 SAUM as the parent case. Looks like a little fat 7.62 x 39 to me. Guessing if it's brand new....load data will soon follow.

I just got one. Case is based on Rem SAUM brass (factory loads I got are marked as such). My .458 SOCOM dies will reload the brass. I obtained two spare bolts for mine - one bolt face I opened to accept .458 SOCOM brass (.308 case head); the other I left stock to use the .50 Beowulf brass (7.62x39 case head) sized and trimmed to .458 SOCOM specs. The open sights yielded 3" groups @50yds w/factory ammo. Since the WASR-10 it is based on has a rail, I've added a side mount and NcStar's 3x9x42IR scope. Range report will follow....
