Has anyone heard from David White lately?
I am interested in his 338 Boomer, a shortened
50 BMG case necked down to 338.

He's done work for a friend and I in the last 6 months, so I know he's still around. Not sure if he works with that particular 'cat, but I guess I'd be surprised if he couldn't create what you're looking for.

This is a very busy time of the year for a gunsmith. The only time I see them busier is in a good prarie dog year.

I too would be surprised to hear that David could not make you happy. The work he did for us was first rate.
