Came up with a couple of wildcats tonight while i was unloading my tumbler.
First up is the 500-204.

As you can see from the picture, I'm playing with different lengths.
Next up is the infamous 45-204 sleeper.

Last but not least, the dreaded 500 double header.

Balistics on this one are very promising.

The case capacity on that 500 DH has got to be impressive! Would the resulting pressures off-set each other, resulting in much lower perceived recoil?

By the very definition of "wildcat," all are, initially at least, experimental rounds. These that have been proposed, entertaining but I think its time for you to call it a night.

I thought those pic and descriptions were hilarious...I'm still snickering and chuckling.

Lighten up guys...ALL of you...this stuff isn't brain surgery or life and death or so serious as to turn us into humorless shriveled up tomatoes...there is WAY too much dissing going on in forums which makes an enjoyable few minutes of reading turn into an unenjoyable pile of mindless, ignorant, recalcitrant BS.

I'm a dinosaur and I thought it was funny but then I had a nice nap and was fully awake when I read your post. Perhaps those who didn't like it, (no names mentioned to protect the innocent and not so innocent), should take a nap then reread the post and look more carefully at the pictures.

I have to ask a technical question, what is your preferred primer for the 500 Double Header? I wouldn't want to get it wrong since it might be a critical factor in making a successful load.
