Pre 64 disassembly

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

I just purchased a pre 64 Model 94 .30-30. Does anyone have a set of disassembly procedures to send me? I want to take the action and magazine apart to clean before shooting.

Here are two links to get you started. Remember there is seldom a need for a complete disassembly of the Model 94. A light oiling and wipe down with a brush through the bore will get most closet queens up and running.
If you take your rifle apart ensure your screw drivers fit the screws, the first link will help you with this. Read about mainsprings, strain screws and angled blades before you begin.
