I don't like owning a perfectly good Winchester (American made beauty) and not shoot it...that is what it was made to do. It's worth $800.00 and I would love to trade or get some money for it because it is way to tempting to not shoot it and since everyone is so attament about not shooting it...fine, then I should get rid of it to someone who collects and get something I can shoot.

Well.................. just my $0.02, but it's a post-64, only made fancier than most, and will certainly never be worth the $$$ that a gennie with the same features & in the same condition would bring.
They're ready-made "collectibles", like "Beany Babies", "Cabbage Patch Dolls" & "collector" dishes - made expressly for those who'd like to have the real thing, but can't (for whatever reason), or who'd just like something to collect.
I've shot/hunted my late model, high-grade, Model 94's & Model 86's w/o a thought; and, since I took care not to actually beat the brush with them, got top dollar when it came time to move them on, because they were still pristine.
I'd say, if you enjoy the gun, shoot it - after all, how else can anyone enjoy a new classic rifle, with all those upgraded features, at less then 1/3 the cost of the real deal ?
