I am having issues with getting on here. the only way I can is if I get a notification that someone has posted a new post in a thread I'm sub'd to. Otherwise, going to my favorites, or just googling Shooter's Forum/BTB says the following, which is a direct copy of what appears for me every time, and the bandwidth line is in huge letters just like it is here when I get this message-

"Bandwidth Limit Exceeded

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later."

That's an issue with the Beartooth site, not the Shooter's forum.

Set yourself up a favorite for www.shootersforum.com

A sudden new issue

The main page and forums pages display normal but as soon as any thread is opened it is displayed as a very wide panoramic view, not cropped at all. Only this forum, nothing else.

Edited: It is ONLY when I open my thread on the .303 and none other.

I'm having trouble on this forum today and last night with trying to exit a thread and to to a new one. It stalls and sits there trying to go back. It's only on this forum. Something's going on.

Humpy's picture is causing it at post #295.

I think the problem in your .303 thread is Humpy's picture. The phone view on the forum may be automatically resizing pictures, but the regular computer view never has.

Clear you browsing history. I did that last night and today and it started working "normal" again. See if that helps.

While answering a post, got a "ERROR" message upon completion. When trying to clear that, a red page came up stating this was an unsafe website. Had to clear and go to home page and starting over.

Indeed it was

Thank you Mike. Also I was able to remove the funnies that locked me out of the log-in main page by presenting an HTML-looking screen with headings stacked all over but not linking to anywhere. All is well now.

I have not been able to open this forum on my desk computer for several days, (this is iPad). All the other BT site stuff works fine. What's going on?

I've got another report of that. Try clearing all the cookies and cache on your browser and let us know if that helps.

I had the same issue last week (win7/Firefox). I cleared the cookies for the site, re-signed in and it worked. Another time, it started working on its own. Invisible gremlins are the worst kind.

Mine has been playing up but just now let me back in. Hmmmm?? Put all my cleaners on, which is a serious pain because I now have to re invent everything. We will see if it recurs.

Mike,
I was, I believe, one of the first to report a problem. I took your advise, and that worked for a while to get rid of the "Band Width" message. But now, when I try to enter (either through Beartooth or Shooters Forum favorite link using Internet explorer or Bing) it opens momentarily (a few seconds) then the screen goes blank (white screen) and the "little circle" goes spinning up in the tab and the tab is still showing "Shooters Forum". This went on for several days, so I tried entering through my Samsung tablet. I was able to enter but I can't pull photos in from my computer using the tablet.
Here is where it gets strange. This morning I still could not get in on my computer (through Explorer or Bing) so I opened up in Google Chrome and now that gave me complete access, including the ability to post photos.
Unfortunately, I can't figure out a way to save your site location to my "Favorites file" using Google Chrome. Any suggestions, from anyone?

Mine is doing that - displaying content for a thread or three, then reloading to a blank, white screen. Sometimes closing that tab and reloading Shooter's Forum in a new tab works for a little while, but eventually the dead white screen returns. I use the IE Explorer browser
