Registered Users do not see the above ad.

is $1.50/lb too much to pay for it right now. I can get about 50 lbs at this price.

If you can afford $75 and need it, I'd buy it. Linotype is only going to get harder to find. Stash it away, and use it sparingly in your melt as needed is the best I can recomend.

I kinda figured the same, but I just wanted to make sure linotype hadn't dropped to free and I didn't know about it.

Great Price! Buy It.

That is a bargain. Get it now before someone else does.

I just bought a bunch of linotype from a printer who retired from the business. I am new to this site and don't know if posting it for sale here is permitted. If not, any suggestions?

We have a minimum number of posts and days on the forum. See the rules in the Trading Post topic.

I'm sure there are a ton of auction sites you can put the stuff on, anyway. That's what I'd do.

Stick around, if you know a little about casting then we'll be glad to have you

Thanks for the heads up and the welcome.

Yes, I am definitely into casting and look forward to learning more from others that "are bit by the bug". There is always a ton to learn and many times I have avoided pitfalls by learning from other folks experiences. So thanks in advance.
