Killed this old fellow a couple of five years back. Last day, about an hour left in the season, lucky.....lord have mercy, you have no idea. I reckon it just goes to show that even a blind sow can find an acorn once and awhile. I hope that it posts so you can see it.

Notice the hat, my favorite- I won't say its a lucky hat, because I really and truly beleive that a fellow makes his own luck, but I have all manner of game photos where I am sporting this lon the top of my head. Bought it in Oqoussoc, Maine in 2000 at a place called Rivers Edge Sports. Anyway, after seven years of hunting, mowing and playing ball in this dude, its starting to get a little worn, so I caught up with River's edge and asked if they still sold them....nope....dang.

Long story short (too late) I got up with a fellow out of Mass that makes them, and had him make me one up that is near identical, except that it doesn't advertise River's Edge Sports.

What do you think?

Best to you all.

Experience is a hard teacher, because she gives the test first, and the lesson afterwards.

That's a dandy whitehunter! The buck is nice too. I have several favorite hats too. They usually have to get dunked in a high mountain stream and dried on-the-head to achieve favorite form-fitting status!
