A clean patch 48 hours later shows only a slight smear of oil.
Tried several patches loaded with mobile 1 and still came out clean.
I am beginning to believe the man that told me that old military barrels always come out black on the first patch.
I do know that he shoots military barrels only so he might have some clue that I don't.
I guess I will have to keep chasing a tigers tail on this one.
Thank you for the time and input as it was greatly appreciated.
