A Rabbi, a Hindu Holy Man, and a Lawyer...
A Rabbi, a Hindu Holy Man, and a Lawyer were driving across the desert at night to beat the heat. They break down, and seeing lights, walk to a nearby ranch house to seek refuge until morning.
The old rancher says he only has two places to sleep in the house so one of them will have to sleep in the barn.
The Rabbi says, "Well I will! This is no problem for me. After all I've been through it will make me stronger."
A few minutes later there is a knock on the door.
The rancher goes to the door and there stands the Rabbi with his bedroll.
The Rabbi tells the rancher that there is a pig in the barn and he can't possibly spend the night under the same roof as a pig.
The Hindu says, "Well I have no problems with swine, I will sleep in the barn tonight. I wish you all a good sleep and I will see you in the morning."
A few minutes later there is another knock on the door and the rancher answers and there stands the Hindu Holy Man.
The Holy Man proceeds to apologize to the rancher, telling him that he was thankful that the rancher took them all in for the night but that he could not possibly sleep under the same roof as the sacred cow that was in his barn.
The lawyer volunteers, saying, 'Well then I'll sleep in the barn! I have no problems with any of the creatures that might be in there!'
So the lawyer proceeds to the barn with his bed roll.
A few minutes later there is another knock on the door and the rancher answers again.
Outside stands a pig, a cow, a rat, a bat and a snake....
