Arkansas Conservation Snow Goose Hunt

Myself and seven of my buddies went on a guided spring Arkansas conservation snow goose hunt. No Arkansas license needed. Just your home state hunting license, federal duck stamp and a free federal snow goose hunt number. We hunted two days and killed more than fifty snow and blue geese. I had never hunted from a layout blind before. It took a few shots for me to get used to shooting from this position. The large bruise on my arm shows that I missed my shoulder with the butt stock several times. Guides were excellent and decoy layout was unreal (2000 plus decoys). I have been hunting my whole life but have never seen so many geese. Weather was wonderful and we all had a great time. It was well worth the money. I will definately do it again.

Neat. Been snow goose hunting once, it was fun. The meat was surprisingly good. Glad you had fun!
