Plan to pick up a Marlin 1894 to go with my .44 Ruger SRH. Is the rear sight on this rifle adjustable for both for windage and evelation? I see the term Marble sight but don't know what that means. I will only be shooting tragets with the rifle as I can't use a rifle to hunt deer in my area.

Thanks for the info. I've read the post on the other board about sights. I changed the sights on a Ruger 9 mm that I have. I think the new sights were by PSI, or something like that. With the Ruger factory sights you have to "drift" the rear sight for windage. It's much nicer to just turn a screw. I just have to narrow down excatly which mdel of the 1984 I want now. I have stopped in several local guns stores but no one has had one in stock. My son gave me the name of a guy he buys guns from. The guy has an FFL and sells out of his house at 10% over his cost. I will be calling him to get the prices on the 3 different models.
