Useful bit of kit. I have similar but it is a box. The problem with something sticking too far out the back is turning around amongst the trees and when I have the front forks full, then that is about it for the little Kubota. The guy who is coming to help this morning is a contractor and a John Deere nutcase. I think he has three, one a big machine. He has been over to the plants in the USA.

I guess I am very fortunate. I have 38 acres surrounded by National Forest. 14 miles to the nearest farm to the north. 30 miles to the north to a McDonalds and 40 miles to the south to the next one. And I live in NC. There is a white pine, 200 feet from the house that scaled 1700 board feet 35 years ago. The pine beetles killed it a few years ago, but I chose not to harvest it. I harvest timber as I need it. In the past 35 years built a 2 story garage, 28' x 32', two outbuildings, a barn and 2 cabins with lofts. Also chicken houses, goat sheds, etc. I will be 70 in October and all I will be cutting in the future is firewood. Never had a wood splitter until last year. Don't know how I got by without it! Just an old vet enjoying my "boonies" for hopefully 4 decades.
