Nah, you didn't read that title wrong gents! It's been raining cats & dogs all week long. So far I have close to 4 inches of rain recorded since Saturday. We are supposed to get another 3 to 6 by the end of the friggin week!:(

I thought about getting up in my big boat (36ft Sea Ray) because it has a canopy over the top of it right now. However, I can only shoot the Sharps about 150 yards down range. Now that is just peanuts on the floor as compared to what it can do down range, now the fog is sitting in.

I thought about just sleeping on this boat, especially if we get another 6 inches of rain by the coming weekend. The creek is wide and deep enough to almost float a Navy Cruiser by golly. The field below me, has close to 30 inches of water running over it's banks this evening. :(

Oooops. Apologies. Moved this to my neck of the woods as it is 99.99% about that and not single shot rifles. BUT

In the transition lost three comments including mine.

Hope the water stops rising as there have been enough flood related tragedies in the US this year.

Well....here is one lost comment:
to repeat....
That is a lot of water and the creek seems to have become something more than it was
Here's hoping that the weather settles down for y'all.
