Help choosing marbles tang globe front

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

MAN never thought this would be so hard. Have new Pedersoli 1874, 45-70. Wanna put a "standard"height Marbles tang on it. Anyones experience tell me which Lyman Globe 17 height for the front. There's what, 4 different Lyman globe 17 heights? Won't be shooting beyond 300yds for starters. Got lots of load development to do before going out farther. I'm sure there's some 'standard rule' that would help but I'm new to this vintage kinda lead throwing.
Thanks for any assist.

Wrenchturner--- The sights are parallel with the bore. Just measure how much above bore-line the rear sight is and make the front the same OR the next size shorter, if you have to round off. (If you calculate you need .380 and .375 is a choice, that would be the one to choose).
There is no safe direction to point an unsafe gun.
