Trinity County, CA bear hunting.

Registered Users do not see the above ad.

I've never hunted bear before but CA DFG publications say the bears in Trinity Co. are bumping into each other in the woods!! Has anybody here hunted bear in Trinity Co.? Do you have any advice for a beginner? (OK, wise guys, I know to be careful where I step 'cuz bruins doo-doo in the forest!!)

I don't know anything about northern california, but I live down in santa barbara county and I have seen some bears run across the road at night. good luck.
