does any of you guys own a BAR 270 OR 3006..cause am looking for this model particularly for hunting wild hogs and whitetail lets say small medium size venison......i'll be looking for any feedback on it..specialy accuracy, reliability, how easy they are to get cleaned
I have an uncle that has one without "boss" chambered 243 Winchester. He loves it and harvests deer every year. I've handled it, but not fired or worked it. Sure is a nice looking rifle.
That is all I can offer.
I have an older Belgium Grade II in .30-06. It will put Remington 150gr Core-Loks into an inch at 100. This is after I discovered JB Compound that really cleaned the rifling(I don't think it had been cleaned well since 1968-I got it a few years back).
As far as cleaning the whole rifle, I heard they are somewhat complicated and took mine to a 'smith and spent $40 to have it taken apart and cleaned.
These are heavy rifles, and recoil is quite managable. The Boss is ugly to me, but really cuts the recoil.
how about the bar on safary model that come with boss system what do u guys think///
