Just out of interest how much are you guys paying per hundred for your Hornady 17gr V-Max ?

Interested because here they have now gone up to around $40 a hundred.

holy crow!

That's way too much. Last I checked I was paying 13.99 USD per 50. So $28 per 100.

I guess I have not checked the prices in a while. I stocked up a while ago on Gamepoints when I found them for 12.49 per 50. Cabela's is showing 13.99 for Vmax on their site.

Yup - stocked up back when the Dimocrat Scourge was elected pres. and things were a lot cheaper back then. Got both 17 hmr's and 22 wmr's for less than half what they're asking now.

If you lived nearby, Sus - I'd "loan" you a box or two!

I bought 2 cases of the 17grain vmax after determining they shot best in my rifle. Bought the first case at 11.99 per box at a local farm supply. Got the second case at about $8 per box on sale at Cabelas. Been shooting those for the last 3 years and haven't bought any lately.

Will check next time in town and post current prices.

As I thought. OK I know they have to ship to the UK, but someone is creaming it off big time. Thanks for the info.

I was paying around $10-15 a box for 50 rounds from Hornady or CCI when I had my .17. Had it for about 3 years because I couldn't find .22lr or .22 magnum but .17hmr was everywhere. So $20-30 for a 100 count. You're overpaying a little. Maybe a little more, I don't know what your currency is worth now days compared to ours.
