    General Discussion
HI, second time to try this. I have been lurking this site now about 3-5 months, and really enjoy reading about everyone's adventures (mostly ballistics and reloading). I tried to sign up here via the ole pocket computer (smart phone) but that got me banned FOREVER because somehow I messed...

    General Discussion
Hey y'all! I have been lurnking in the back and finally decided to step into the melee. I like a lot of different perspectives and always look to learn more. There are some great folks and great topics on here. I'm glad I stumbled across this board and was let in. I am no one important...
  3. Newbie and Learning

    General Discussion
This is my first time joining a shooting forum. I'm hoping to learn a lot more than I know now, which isn't a lot. I've had a couple of weapons for home defense for many years, fired them enough to be comfortable with them but that's about it. Recently, I bought my first semi-auto, a Ruger...

This sounds like either a safety thing or a jamming thing, but I'm not sure... What kind of ammo...
  6. A New Guy

    General Discussion
Hey everybody. I'm the new guy. Just recently got into using my 2nd amendment rights by way of survivalist and camping/hiking hobbies. I own a Springfield .45ACP "Micro-Compact" and just purchased a Marlin 336 in .35. I've never killed anything bigger than a bug in my life, but as I would like...
  7. Newbie exposed

    Handloading Procedures/Practices
OK I am new to reloading and this post will make that very clear. As I was accumulating my gear and reading all that I can I saw one post where they improved their accuracy with some powder by switching from a large rifle primer to a large rifle magnum primer. So when I went out looking at...
