I went to the range today to tweak my win Hester 1885 by miroku. Cause I switched from 55 grain to 45 grain and it started shooting a little loose. Is that weight to lite for the twist rate. I'm not sure of the twist rate I think it's 1 in 9 or 1 in 10. It's a 28" barrel high wall. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what ammo I should try next. I don't hand load yet

Generally twist issues stem from too slow of a twist to stabilize heavier bullets. You may have some other issues happening (some bullets just don't shoot as well as others in a given rifle). You might want to try some different brands with similar weights to see if your groups shrink.

Thanks red for the advise. Should I pick a grain and stick with it and try brands. I'm leaning toward a heavy bullet cause I want to hunt deer some day

For starters, I would not recommend hunting deer with a .22-250. It's a great varmint cartridge, but awfully light for deer (it will kill them with a very properly placed shot and a heavier/non-fragmenting bullet, but there's very little margin for error). As for your accuracy issues, since you don't reload, I would pick up different brands/bullet weights/bullet styles and see what shoots best in your rifle. Then you'll have plenty of brass for reloading! For smaller varmints, you generally want a lighter, fragmenting bullet. For bigger stuff you'll want a heavier bullet that holds together well for deeper penetration. Some manufacturers offer a fairly wide range of bullet styles/weights, and sometimes even premium bullets.
