I've seen an 1894sc in .44 on GB.... - I'm just wandering...does it exsist in .357 also? I've never seen one... 161/2" NOT ported. Input, please. Thanks.

I have a 1894C with a 18.5" barrel in 357. The "S" was added when Marlin added the cross bolt safety. The "S" was later dropped from the part number, but the gun still has the safety.
So yes, they do exist in 357, but they don't seem to be as numerous.

I wandering about the 16 1/2" model... 1894sc, not cs. I know it exists in .44, am not sure about .357.

Davidson's has made some special runs with 16.5 inch barrels. I am not sure of the model. Try the guys at Marlin Owners they may know.

Got One

I have a Marlin 1894S "Limited". It has the cross bolt safety,16.5" bbl,and straight stock. Non ported also.This,chambered in 44mag/44spec. Got mine from Davidson's when I had my FFL.----pruhdlr
