Have had my Marlin 336cs 3030 improved. Was after any reloading info for 125gn , 130gn, & 150gn bullets.
Have pushed 150 gn with up to 38g of win748 so far with no adverse signes of pressure.

Have just got a new box of Sierra 150 gn FP 30-30 code 2000 and Sierra have changed the designe from old ones I have on hand with the same code. Is this correct?
As I have noticed that there is an inconsistancy in the nose taper - This give me different OAL due to inconsistent seating depth!

I ALSO HAVE HAD A MARLIN RE-CHAMBERED TO 30/30ACKLEY IMP, A STRAIGHT GRIP TEXAN CARBINE TO BE EXACT.
SO FAR ITS' PERFORMANCE HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS TO BEAT THE BAND.  HAVE ONLY USED 170 W-W ST'S SO FAR BUT IT SMOKES THEM OUT THERE IN FINE STYLE AND SHOOTS LIKE A MILLION BUCKS [ THE GROUPS AT 60 YARDS WHILE I WAS GETTING SIGHT SETTNGS IN THE RIGHT PLACE AVERAGED 1/4" 3-SHOT GROUPS...FROM A LEVERGUN...YE GADS!! ]
WILL NOT POST MY DATA YET AS I'M A LONG WAYS FROM DONE WITH IT.
THE JAN/FEB 1984 HANDLOADER MAGAZINE HAS 30/30ACKLEY DATA FOR 125 TO 150 BULLETS THOUGH THE WRITERS ATTITUDE AND CONCLUSIONS ARE SUSPECT TO MY THINKING.
