I will test in wet newspaper or jugs of water soon. I would think a 130 grain flat nose bullet would expand pretty well at around 2000 fps.

If a bullet maker says their bullet will expand “down to 1800 fps impact velocity”, don’t expect a nice classic mushroom.

thats why i use cast boolits for deer.

Shot down in a 55 gallon barrel of water. Got a little wet but recovered the bullet.
