Not sure exactly which configuration you have, but the normal procedure is to remove the mag tube just far enough to clear, slide the barrel band just far enough to remove the forend. On other styles, you remove the mag tube completely, slide the barrel band up to the front sight, rotate 180 and slide over the sight. One of these two methods will work for you.
What does the front sight have to do with the magazine tube? Remove the two barrel band screws and the screw near the end of the magazine (not the end cap, it has a slot on older guns but is not a screw). Then slide the mag forward and out. Watch out for the long mag spring, it can get away from you. With the mag out then remove the barrel bands and fore stock.
According to the disassembly manual, you remove the screw at the end of the mag tube, and remove the mag tube cap and spring. CAUTION.....spring is like a long mean snake..
Then remove the the screws on the side of the barrel band (s), slide to the front of the barrel, then slide the mag tube forward. Remove forend.....
Be careful not to lose the mag spring retainer in the receiver.
Reverse for reassembly
