I've got a partial box (17 rounds) of .30 Remington a friend gave me years ago. Always wondered what rifle they were chambered for, then I found a Remington model 81? chambered for it. I didn't buy the rifle but, I've still got the cartridges. Not really sure what to do with them.

Cartridge collecting has become quite the pass-time for many folks; maybe you can offer one each to the first 16 people who send you a PM? Keeping one for yourself and asking $5 in return, to cover postage, of course.

If that doesn't interest you, the 6.8SPC was based on the 30 Remington. You could almost certainly sell them on Gunbroker.

The .30 Remington is Remington's answer to the .30/30 Winchester. It is basically a rimless .30/30 and load data is virtually identical between the two. The .30 Remington was chambered in the Remington Model 141 slide action rifle and the Models 8 and 81 semiautos.
