One HELLUVA time to try intro-ing a new round. I wonder if Henry Ford was thinking the same thing(s) that Federal (apparently) is, when he launched the EDSEL...

Is this too much recoil? Asking for a friend.
All depends on what stage of life you are in.
45 years ago, I would have given that a try(not after seeing that video mind you)
Today I will pass, that is why my Grandson has my .454Casull.
my hands bleed the last couple times I fired it.
But I was always astonished watching this Dude loose his Grip![/QUOTE]

They usually can't hit anything with ANY weapon, so they get a BIGGER one to somehow make up for it, I guess.

I love seeing new products coming to the market but two extra shots in a 13rd magazine, 1" more penetration and 13ft lbs more energy than a 9mm, really?
Well, from a marketing perspective, "they made you look" :)

In terms of practical utility, it's another "what's the point" round. For which, there's no ammo you can find these days.

Since the .38 Special and the 9mm Luger were developed, about 125 years ago, developments in powder and bullets have made enough improvement in performance to keep them in the program for their intended use. All the fluff since is marketing. I sort of see the utility of the .32 H&R for anyone intimidated by the viscous recoil of hot 38 or 9mm loads  but the rest of the pack, ???

Or, I'm just being old and stuck in the past. Somehow I'll make it to the grave with my .38 Specials and 9mm's. For which I have buckets of brass, and bullets. Haven't needed $100 per K primers, or $50/lb powders, yet.
