I was looking for a better stock for a 300 wby vanguard thats been in my safe for a while. I was looking at the bell and carlson medalist stock. Full length aluminum block bedding. Seems pretty nice for $250. I'm pretty open for any suggestion here. Any input for be appreciated.

I'm also curious what aftermarket tigger works best for the same gun. Thanks

Boyds Laminated stocks are very nice, and used by just about every manufacture on factory guns. HS Precisions are nice as well.

As far as triggers, Rifle Basix, Timney or Jewel.

What options do I have for tactical style stocks? Aftre looking into the medalist, The tac style is only in short action from what I'm seeing.
