I have a SSK 309 JDJ T/C Contender barrel and dies. I have formed up cases from new 444 Marlin brass as instructed by SSK. No problems. The gun shoots very well, though the recoil is fairly sharp but manageable. Does anyone have experience with this cartridge? I have not hunted with mine yet. Any input appreciated.

Thanks for the information. The bullet I have been loading up is the Nosler 150 Ballistic Tip. Accuracy has been great, I just haven't taken any game with it yet. My barrel is a rechambered T/C barrel, ported, with SSK 309 JDJ stamped on the lug. Again, thanks for the reply. Good hunting.
