I have an 1894CL Marlin in 32/20 that I want to hunt small game with this season. Most notably, cottontails. I'm looking for loads that won't destroy a lot of meat (yes, I know they should be headshot, but that doesn't always happen). I use a 115 gr. Lyman gaschecked bullet. I also have some 0 size buckshot, the possibilities of which intrigue me.  I'd be really interested in hearing about others experiments with the  32/20.

I've been shooting Hornady hollow base wadcutters out of mine over 2.0 gr. Clays. They go 1050 fps and are easily head shot accurate out to 50 yds.

Also been shooting #3118 over 4.0gr. Unique at 1050 fps - another great load. With WC680 it'll do 1600 fps and still is more accurate than I can see. Like Terry says, what a great rifle!
